The Incredible Machine: Even More Contraptions takes me back to when I was a kid and making contraptions to feed something or blow something up. This game created by Sierra? has many interesting features and is fun for the whole family.

Gameplay:

Most of the Incredible Machines that you build are quit simple in design and are easy to build making some levels really. Sometimes I found myself completing levels in a few seconds. But not all the levels are like that, some levels you have to have all your pulleys, treadmills, and explosives in the exact spot your suppose to have it or else you won’t complete the level. On good feature about this game is that if you get stuck on a level you can go back to the main page and select another level, and then you can just come back to that level later with out getting frustrated. This new version of The Incredible Machine also includes two-hundred and fifty brand new puzzles, a better head-to-head mode, and internet puzzle swapping. And there is a handy little hint mode that you can turn on/off anytime during the game to give you hints on where to place contraptions.

GamePlay gets a 3.5 out of 5

Sound:

One thing I liked about this game was that a speaker on the screen talked to you and told you your objectives, instead of you having to read through the text that was on the screen. This speaker voice sometimes got annoying and was quit loud, but tolerable. Each tool that you use in making your Incredible Machine has it’s own unique sound and makes it fun to hear all the different noises that are played by those contraptions.

Graphics:

The graphics in this aren’t state of the art or top of the line, but is good enough to give you a good time. The game is 2-d making you wonder how cool the game would be in 3-d. Graphics aren’t really needed for this game to be enjoyable and I think Sierra? new that when making this game.

Overall:

This game is very addictive for some reason, every time you complete a puzzle, I just felt the need to play the next level. This game is fun and brings back memories from when I was a kid. This is a fun filled family game that doesn’t take a whole lot of know how to play.

Overall I give it a 3.5 out of 5
